On Wednesday, November 18, IU will celebrate GIS Day to show how geography and GIS technologies make a difference in our lives:
* What: GIS games, giveaways, demonstrations, and displays -- plus Dr. Elinor Ostrom's keynote on "Using GIS and Remote Sensing to Study the Effects of Diverse Institutions"
* Main event: November 18, from 10am to 3pm in the main lobby of the Herman B Wells Library (IU Bloomington)
* Keynote: By IU professor Elinor Ostrom, 2009 Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences, 5pm at the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center
